The second best way is to buy your essential oils with a wholesale account. It is so much better to set up a Wholesale Account. This doesn’t give you the ability to distribute essential oils, just to buy them at 25% off retail. The wholesale membership is similar to Sam’s Club or Costco where you pay an annual fee and get wholesale prices. And it is soooo worth it.
It costs $35 to set up a Wholesale Account for the first year, but you don’t even have to pay that if you get one of the amazing starter kits. The kits begin at about $150 and range up to $2,500. It will literally be the best investment you make for your health. The only expense beyond the kit is shipping, which starts at 3 or 6 dollars. Amazing.
You do have the option of paying the $35 membership fee and selecting any essential oil or product that you want.
The annual renewal fee is $25, and is an amazing value because your membership renewal comes with a free essential oil of the same value as the membership.
There is no obligation to ever buy anything with your membership, no contract, and you can cancel your membership at anytime. It is such an amazingly flexible arrangement. You are free to call the shots.

1. Decide what products you want to buy. The best way to do this is to choose a starter kit (enrollment kit). When you purchase a starter kit at the same time you open your wholesale account, the $35 membership fee is waived!

Select either Local (OTG) Order or International (NFR) Order.
Local orders are shipped from the Australian warehouse and products can be re-sold retail. The Australian warehouse stocks most of the products except for some of doTERRA’s supplements.
International orders are shipped from the U.S warehouse but is not for resale. All of their products are available for purchase, unless out of stock.
4. Select Account Type.
Select account type: either Wellness Advocates (can earn commission from introducing others) or a Wholesale Customer (no commission).Wholesale Customer can always upgrade their membership to Wellness Advocate later if you want to earn commission. Either choice will give you the eligibility to receive doTERRA’s free product of the month.
5. Fill Out Your Details.

The BEST way to buy essential oils, which is what I do is to set up a Wholesale Account for yourself (just follow the links below to get instructions on how to do that) and take advantage of the Product Points and Promotions.
Product Points are like frequent-flyers. It is a Loyalty Rewards Program which gives you Product Points for every order you put in your monthly recurring orders. You redeem the points for free products. We literally get hundreds of dollars of free product every year. That’s called smart shopping. You begin by getting 10% of your points back, and if you make consecutive loyal monthly orders, you can earn up to 30% back in addition to the 25% off retail price. That’s about 55% savings. This is the absolute best way to purchase the best essential oils in the world.

The loyalty rewards thing is completely optional and you can participate if you want and stop when you want. The percentage and the points only accumulate when you continue. It is such a flexible arrangement. You are in charge.
If you skip a month without ordering LRP, you simply lose any of your points. And if you begin LRP again after that, you begin again with 10%. Retail
Of course, you always have the option to forgo the Wholesale account and buy your product Retail. I don’t recommend it, but if you just want to try an essential oil without paying the membership fee, this may be a good way to try.
If you are buying over $140 of products, you are better off getting a Wholesale Account because 25% of $140 is $35. And if you are getting a starter kit, you are better off setting up a Wholesale Account because the $35 is waived.
