Toxin-Free Kids Shampoo Review #2
We tried two types of natural shampoos. As a mamma of two, I want to make sure I’m making as many positive healthy decisions for my family. Knowing there are many harmful chemicals in mainstream products, it’s an easy choice for me to switch to safe shampoo.
Jack N’ Jill Natural Bathtime Shampoo & Body Wash- Sweetness
This Jack N’ Jill Natural Bathtime Sweetness Shampoo & Body Wash is a blissful, uplifting aromatherapy blend of Neroli, Palmarosa and Ylang Ylang essential oils combined with natural extracts such as Soap Bark and antioxidant-rich native Orange Pearl, which provide a deep yet soothing cleansing action.
Here’s what I thought:
The texture was thick, lathered really well and smelt AMAZING! It’s lightly scented, slightly floral, musky and sweet. It smelt so soft and sweet, making my little ones even more delicious! The formula cleans hair and body really well. It’s a 300ml bottle, so it lasted pretty long. I just love the bottle and pump too! It’s a very sturdy shaped bottle with a wide head pump, easy for little hands learning to bathe themselves. I haven’t yet tried the other scents, but I really enjoy this one already.
We are sticking to the Jack N’ Jill toothpastes because my kids absolutely loves them and all their fruity scents.
Pineapple Heads Kids Shampoo
The Pineapple Heads Shampoo is a hard-working, yet gentle shampoo which keeps hair smelling fresh and clean. Ideal for the entire family, including those with curly andunruly hair. This is free from and silicones and sulphates and has a delicious natural fragrance from Pineapples, White Tea and Hibiscus. It thoroughly cleanses oily, greasy and dirty hair, leaves locks looking healthy, glossy and bouncy.
Here’s what I thought:
The formula was slightly thinner than the Jack N’ Jill, but it also lathered well. This shampoo also smells so yummy. It has a very fruity, sweet, tropical scent, very similar to tropical cordial. My kids love this fragrance. The formula cleans hair and body really well too. This is 250ml bottle, there is no pump and costs more than other brands we’ve tried. These are the only complaints I have. Otherwise, it does the job, smells fruity and fun. Great for the whole family.
I’m interested in trying the Ecostore 3-in-1 Conditioning Shampoo & Body Wash next. It is 350mls and also has a pump. So stay tuned for my next review!
