Kids Toothpaste and Shampoo review- Toxin Free!

We were very excited to receive our Nourished Life package in the mail! Savannah loves opening our packages and mail so I thought it would be perfect for her to do her first review on the products.

ORAL CARE

My kids absolutely LOVES Jack N’Jill toothpastes in every flavour available. We ordered Banana, Blackberry and Blueberry flavoured toothpaste. I asked Savannah which flavour was her favourite and it was difficult for her to answer because she loved all the flavours. So she narrowed it down Blueberry, Raspberry and Strawberry flavours. Unfortunately, Raspberry and Strawberry flavours were out of stock at the time of order because they must be other kids favourites too! Though I will definitely be ordering more Strawberry, Raspberry and Blueberry flavoured toothpastes in our next order. My two girls have been brushing their teeth really often without being asked to, as I normally have to remind them constantly. Well, my toddler seems to just want to eat it so I’m unsure that’s a good thing but I can say its better than pinning her down to brush! It’s safe to ingest so I feel at ease if she does eat more than she should. With conventional toothpastes, if a small child eats the whole tube, it would be life-threatening and I would take this poisoning very very seriously.

Along with the toothpastes, I ordered the hippo character toothbrush and hippo rinse/storage cup. This eco-friendly cup is made from bamboo and rice husks, which is so convenient for storing their toothbrushes and toothpastes in. Toothbrushes need to be changed every few months for good hygiene so I’ll definitely be ordering more!

SHAMPOO

We’re trying out the Little Innoscents Organic Hair and Body Wash so far and will be reviewing other brands as well. This Little Innoscents Organic Hair & Body Wash is super gentle and suitable for babies and kids of all ages. It lathers really well, leaves the hair soft, clean and conveniently it’s also a body wash. It’s spearmint and sweet orange naturally scented which I love and so do the kids. Its a little minty but also fruity and smells really sweet. I do like this hair and body wash though I have to say, it’s a little on the runny side. I will be trying other brands to see if I like the others better. So far, I like it, but I’m hoping I’ll find something natural that I like better. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind ordering more of this. At least I know it’s free from harsh detergents, sulphates, silicones, and is safe to use on sensitive skin.
