100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder Review

I thought I’d try the 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Foundation Powder since I’ve mostly been liquid foundations so far. I wanted to find something that not only matches my skin colour, but is light and matte to reduce shine on my face. It’s a Talc-free, fruit pigmented powder foundation that absorbs oil and reduces shine with medium coverage, mattifying rice powder. Made with nourishing fruit oils.

Here’s what I found:

The foundation colour Peach Bisque, is a light-medium colour with a yellow base, which is perfect for my asian skin.
The coverage, is quite light. I’m sure it can be buildable to medium coverage. I use the 2nd skin Peach Bisque Concealer for under the eyes and spots (if needed) before buffing this powder on with a brush. For full flawless coverage, this should be used on top of the tinted moisturiser for perfect setting powder.
The texture, is silky smooth, which kind of feels like the blurring powder. Does not sit in your fine lines or wrinkles but covers your pores (yet breathable).
It feels very light-weight on the face, not cakey at all, like I don’t even have make up on. Quite a different feel to having liquid foundation on.
The foundation looks matte, but with a slight shimmer for a natural looking glow. It covers shine really well, better than a lot of foundations I’ve tried, but I would probably still need at least 1 touch up in the afternoon.
Great for skin that is normal to oily. For dry to normal skin, you could try the cream based foundation instead of the powder.

All in all, for someone who likes a light foundation that is mattefying, I really love this product. Actually, my collection of 100% Pure makeup seems to be growing. I just love most of their products compared to other natural non-toxic brands.
